2026 Spring Clean-Up Days

Landfill voucher registration will start Monday, April 20, 2026. Residents can register for vouchers through May 9. Mead Spring Clean-Up Days vouchers will be accepted at Front Range Landfill from May 4 through May 16 during their regular operating hours. One voucher per Town of Mead household or property owner.

Town of Mead residents can use a voucher for one free trip to the Front Range Landfill (1830 Weld County Road 5, Erie, CO 80516). Whether you just finished spring cleaning or need to get rid of some household trash, Clean-Up Days allow you to take one free load to Front Range Landfill!

Registration just got easier! Residents can now fill out the online form and receive their voucher digitally through email! You can still register in person; just stop by the Community Center.

After registration is complete, residents will receive an email and a PDF document containing instructions and a Unique ID Number. Vouchers may be digital or printed, but the Unique ID Number must be visible.

Safety Vest Requirement: For the safety of all participants, anyone unloading trash must wear a high-visibility safety vest with ANSI-compliant reflective striping. Vests must be either brought with you or purchased on-site for $6 each. The Town will cover the cost of one vest per household; any additional vests must be purchased.

Voucher and Landfill Information: The voucher is good for one (1) load up to one (1) ton. All loads must be covered. Please note that one load is defined as:

  • A single vehicle or truck with items
  • Or a single trailer with items. A vehicle/truck with items pulling a trailer with items is considered two loads, and additional charges will apply.
  • A maximum one-ton limit applies. Additional items/weight will be subject to landfill fees, paid by the resident at the time of disposal.

Saturday: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

As a Municipal Solid Waste Landfill (MSW), the Front Range Landfill is authorized only to accept certain materials. All incoming loads are subject to random inspection.
