Board approves Metro Down Payment Assistance Program

March 11, 2020 -- At the March 9, 2020 meeting of the Board of Trustees, the Board entered into an agreement with the City and County of Denver to participate in its Metro Down Payment Assistance Program.

The metro-wide program, called metroDPA, provides down payment assistance, as a zero-interest, forgivable second mortgage, to qualified applicants looking to buy a home in Mead. The program is currently available to those with incomes less than $139,200 and who qualify for a mortgage. To date, metroDPA has provided approximately $14.6M in down payment assistance (through December 2019).

The metroDPA program comes at no cost to the Town of Mead.
