Older Active Adults
The Town of Mead Older Active Adult Program offers a variety of fun activities, events, fitness, wellness, education, and social opportunities.
FUNctional Fitness
Why not have fun while you exercise? The instructor of this class will guide you through exercises for your daily activities to strengthen muscles, improve balance & flexibility, and reduce pain & stiffness while having fun. Classes are Monday and Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Anytime Fitness in Mead (301 Main St). All you need to bring is yourself and some water. This class is free for anyone ages 60+.
LUNCH BUNCH & BINGO!
Come socialize and make new friends while having fun and enjoying a catered lunch provided by local restaurant The Merc. Get your fill of sandwiches and dessert, then stick around to play some BINGO.

Cost: $10 a person
Location: 4340 HWY 66, Mead, CO 80504-Upstairs banquet room.
Seating is limited, and registration is required. Registration ends Thursday, May 9. You must register online or at Town Hall.
*Guests will need to walk upstairs to the reserved room.

The time to gather is now! Enjoy a meal with the Mead Older Active Adults. Group reservations are made for 11:30 a.m., and no transportation is provided. To reserve a seat for a meal, please call 970-805-4204 by the Thursday before the meal date. This will allow enough time to make reservations at the restaurant with an accurate head count. *Indicates free meal provided by the Town of Mead.

COFFEE CLUB
Looking to spend more time with the Older Active Adults group? Join us at Ziggi's Coffee (241 Welker Ave) after the FUNctional Fitness Class at 11 a.m. on the following Wednesdays for coffee and community. The Town of Mead will cover the first $50 of beverages purchased.

Weld County Friendly Fork
The Senior Nutrition Program provides lunches for seniors 60+. Friendly Fork is hosted at 11:30 a.m. every Thursday at Guardian Angles Catholic Church (109 3rd St). There is a suggested minimum donation of $5. Reservations and cancelations are required by 11 a.m. on Wednesday; call 970.400.6950. Information regarding Friendly Fork may be obtained by calling 970.400.6132 or on their website!
