Join us at the Mead Community Open House on April 22, 6-8 p.m. at the Public Works Facility (1341 WCR 34, Mead, CO 80542).

The Town of Mead Community Open House is all about connecting our residents to upcoming projects and their impact on our community. We want to make sure everyone's in the loop and help facilitate the exchange of information. Whether you're seeking clarification on projects, sharing your thoughts, or offering feedback, this event provides a platform for project engagement.

Help us celebrate Arbor Day and our second year as an official Tree City!

We're excited to offer residents a complimentary tree. Limited quantities are available, and tree vouchers are obtained on a first-come, first-served basis. Residents can choose from Honeylocust and Pear (Fruitless) trees. Tree voucher pick-up will occur at Town Hall on Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; proof of residency is required.

Trees can be picked up at our Public Works Facility on Friday, April 26, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Mead Motorheads have been proudly hosting the Mead Memorial Day Car Show since 2004 in the Town of Mead, CO. This year's annual event will be held on May 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Mead Town Park. The car show is free to the public, and features classic automobiles, music, vendors, and food! Fishing is Fun fishing clinic is back at Lorin Mead Park at Highland Lake! The free fishing clinic is scheduled for 8 a.m. on June 1, plus the first 75 kiddos who participate in the 3-session clinic will receive a free fishing pole!

The Town of Mead's annual town-wide garage sale is on Saturday, June 22.

The Town of Mead will advertise in the Times-Call's garage sale section. The ad will list various items being sold and refer people to our website for a complete listing of addresses. No names will be given out. Garage sale registration forms must be received no later than 6/14/2024. 

**A complete list of participating homes and a map will be available online.

Celebrate the 4th of July in style! Bring the whole family, decorate bikes and start peddling. Decorations and supplies will be provided from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at Mead Town Park. The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. and will end around 11 a.m. Stick around after the parade for a cool, sweet treat!

Come down to Mead Town Park on August 6 at 5:30 p.m. and chat with Mead Police, Mountain View Fire Rescue, and our Public Works team. Enjoy a variety of vehicle displays, kid’s activities, food, yard games, & live music! The Country Music Project is Colorado's hottest country music group performing traditional country, today's Top 40 country hits, with a little bit of rock-n-roll! National Night Out activities start at 5:30; the concert begins at 6:30 p.m.

parade 2024 Community Day/Homecoming Parade Entry Form

The Mead Community Day/Homecoming parade will be held Friday, September 27 at 4:30 p.m. All parade entries must be received by Monday, Sept. 16. You will be contacted on Friday, September 20 with specific information regarding location and time for line up.

The parade is open to everyone!  There is no cost to participate. As with year's past, we have combined the Community Day Parade and Homecoming parade into one great community event!
