The Mead Recreation Department offers a wide variety of youth sports, activities, and events for your enjoyment. Along with our parks and outdoor spaces, the Mead Community Center provides year-round opportunities for fitness, programs, and community gatherings.
Starting September 9, 2025, the Community Center will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Resident drop-in fees are $5 for adults and $3 for youth and seniors (65+). Non-resident fees are $7 for adults and $5 for youth and seniors.
Whether you want to enjoy disc golf at Ames Park, have a picnic at Founders Park, play tennis at Liberty Ranch Park, or participate in programs and activities at the Community Center, Mead offers many ways to stay active and connected. Our parks include playgrounds, open space, picnic areas, paths, and more.
To register for programs and activities or to reserve a park or facility, you’ll need a CivicRec account.
