Proclamation: Mead Arbor Day

On April 24, the Board of Trustees proclaimed April 28, 2023 as Mead Arbor Day. Trees can reduce topsoil erosion, lower heating and cooling costs, clean the air, and produce oxygen while providing resources for paper, wood, and fuel. Mead is currently applying to be a Tree City USA to continue our commitment and shared value of trees in our community.
