Proclamation: Mead High School Boys Basketball Team State Champions Day

On March 29, Mayor Whitlow proclaimed April 2, 2021 to be Mead High School Boys Basketball Team 2021 4A State Champions Day. March 21, 2021 the Mead Mavericks beat the Montrose Indians at the 4A CHSAA Boys State Championship at the Broadrnoor World Arena in Colorado Springs with a score of 68-44. These students not only brought home the State Championship for their school, but served as ambassadors for the Town of Mead.
