Proclamation: National Bike Month and June 22 as Bike to Work Day

On May 31, 2022 Mayor Whitlow issued a proclamation declaring the month of June 2022 as National Bike Month and June 22, 2022 as Bike to Work Day in Mead. Riding a bike is a viable and environmentally sound form of transportation and an excellent form of recreation. Creating bicycle-friendly communities has been shown to improve citizen's health well-being, and quality of life to boost community spirit, to improve traffic safety, and to reduce pollution and congestion;
