March 31, 2023--Town of Mead has partnered with CivicRec to implement its parks and recreation management software solution. CivicRec will allow customers greater visibility for Mead’s recreation activities, programs, youth leagues, and more accessible registration. It will also allow guests to search for and reserve community parks and shelters, all conveniently online

“The new system offers better access to parks, recreation, and registration. Mead continues to look for innovative process improvements and we will continue to invest in our community by strengthening and transforming the way local government works. CivicRec is a one stop shop for reserving our shelters, registering for programs, and making payments,” explained Mayor Colleen Whitlow.

CivicRec is part of the CivicPlus Platform of local government technology solutions designed exclusively for the public sector. The software is designed to be intuitive to navigate and easy for customers to use. It is mobile-friendly, allowing people to search for community activities, register, and remit payment even from a smartphone or tablet.

“The people, products, and services CivicPlus provides to all areas of local government are outstanding. CivicPlus strives to provide easy-to-use and intuitive tools, like CivicRec, to simplify even the most complex business operations. The holistic suite of products CivicPlus offers makes the user experience, for both constituents and staff, streamlined and a joy to use,” said Emily Fenwick, CivicRec Implementation Manager.

The Town of Mead’s CivicRec interface will open for program registration on April 3, 2023. Residents are encouraged to create an account early. They can do so by visiting: Mead CivicRec
