2024 Baller Basics (COED Preschool & Kindergarten)
Do you have a child in preschool or kindergarten interested in trying out basketball? The Baller Basics basketball program is an opportunity for kids to play in a relaxed, fun league.
Reversible uniforms will be used for this league. If your child already has a blue and silver Mead Recreation jersey (from soccer, volleyball, or baseball), you may use that for a discounted registration fee. If you need a new Mead Recreation jersey, please select "you need a reversible jersey or a new size" during registration.
Teams meet on Saturdays at Mead Elementary School for a 30-minute practice and a 30-minute game for six weeks.
Registration Opens: Monday, September 9
Registration Closes: Friday, October 11
Late registration: October 12-October 18; A $10 late fee will be assessed during this time. Limited spots will be available during this time, there is no guarantee that your child will be placed on a team.
Fee: $75 Resident, $85 Non-resident
Season Dates: Saturday, November 2 - December 14 (no games November 30)
2024 1st/2nd Grade Basketball - COED
This program promotes good sportsmanship and teamwork while teaching the rules and fundamentals of basketball. Teams will have a 45-minute practice followed by a 45-minute game at Mead Elementary School against other Mead teams for six weeks.

3rd-8th Grade Basketball - CLOSED
Teams practice 1-2 hours per week at Mead Middle School. Games will be played on Saturdays at Carbon Valley Recreation Center or Mead Middle School. Teams are created based on grade level and are divided into boy and girl teams.
We will once again be partnering with Junior Nuggets for this league! All participants will receive a Junior Nuggets jersey and a free Denver Nuggets game ticket. Please select your Junior Nugget Jersey size during registration.
