Dog & Cat License Application

The Town of Mead Municipal Code requires dogs and cats to be licensed annually. Dog and cat owners should get a license within 30 days of:

  • Acquiring a dog/cat that is over six months old
  • The dog/cat turning six months old
  • Moving into the Town with the dog/cat
  • The expiration of a pet license

Pet licenses are $10 for an unaltered pet and $5 for a neutered/spayed pet. Licenses last one year and must be renewed by December 31 of each year. Residents are allowed no more than four (4) dogs or four (4) cats, or any combination thereof equaling four (4) animals, more than six (6) months of age on any one premises. Young animals under six (6) months of age or until weaned may be kept without being counted toward the allowable number of animals. Please fill out the application below and license your pet!
