The Town of Mead, Colorado, invites proposals from qualified individuals and organizations to contract with the Town to provide Municipal Financial Services. The Town uses a hybrid model to staff the finance department, which includes employees to fill the transactional day-to-day role and a contractor to provide expertise and training and perform higher-level functions. The finance department performs all traditional functions, including monthly financial reporting, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, investment management, payroll, and utility billing (wastewater). The finance department also leads the annual budget preparation process and manages the annual financial and compliance audit.
