Fugitive arrested with stolen vehicle at 7-Eleven
December 31, 2023--On December 30 at approximately 10:13 p.m., officers from the Mead Police Department encountered Jayce Joseph Oldcoyote, age 23, at 4301 Highway 66 in Mead. Officers contacted Oldcoyote when he appeared to be driving a stolen vehicle. The suspect then gave officers a different name but was eventually identified and arrested on active warrants. Mead Police immediately impounded the vehicle and discovered a handgun, drug paraphernalia, burglary tools, and stolen license plates in the vehicle.
Jayce Oldcoyote is facing charges of second-degree motor vehicle theft, possession of burglary tools, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft of license plates, and false reporting of identity information to law enforcement.
