Mead Police apprehend theft suspects at local business

March 16, 2023- On Tuesday March 14, the Mead Police responded to an in-progress theft at Sugar Mill Antiques and Vintage Depot in Mead. Police Officers acted swiftly and devised a strategy to safely contact the three subjects in the busy store. Upon initial contact, officers discovered that one of the theft suspects had an active warrant and was immediately detained. The two other suspects were cited for theft.

The Mead Police Department is reviewing prior cases and may be adding additional charges. Officers will also be collaborating with other area agencies to identify possible cases related to these suspects.
