Mead Police investigate multi-vehicle crash on Highway 66
December 22, 2022- At 3:19 p.m. on December 21, the Mead Police Department responded to a crash involving three vehicles near Highway 66 and Weld County Road 3. An 18-year-old driver from one of the vehicles was immediately transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The severity of the accident caused both east and westbound lanes of Highway 66 to close for an hour. This crash is currently under investigation and no further details are available.
