Mead Police investigate shooting near I-25 and Highway 66

April 11, 2023 – On April 10 at approximately 11:12 p.m., the Mead Police responded to a report of shots being fired around Highway 66 and Foster Ridge Drive. When they arrived on scene, officers found the victims had been fired upon while in their vehicle. During the investigation, officers discovered shell casings in the area and bullet holes in the victim’s vehicle. The victims were physically uninjured, but severely shaken.
